Our Emergency Shelter continued to operate at maximum capacity throughout 2025. Demand deepened, with fewer people staying overall but for longer periods compared to 2024, reflecting growing complexity of need and constrained move-on options.

*Long term homelessness refers to staying six months or more in emergency accommodation, over a 12-month period.
The number of people long term homeless* at our Emergency Shelter remained persistently high in 2025.
Our Outreach team met and supported 600 men and women sleeping rough for at least one night.
An average of 37 per night.
Housing and Support
Throughout 2025, our housing and Support Services supported 259 men and women to sustain their tenancies and work towards rebuilding their lives and fulfilling their goals.
Supported in housing
Notwithstanding the housing crisis, we continued to find sustainable tenancy exits from homelessness. In 2025, we supported 38 people to move to secure and affordable, independent and supported housing.
Specialist Supports
We tailor our services to the needs of those who are homeless and at risk of homelessness, responding with care and sensitivity and specialist supports, to help enable people to re-build their lives.
